Israel's military said on Sunday that they caught a missile coming from Yemen. This shows that the Houthi group there still wants to go after Israel, even after they've been hit by air strikes.
The Houthis, who are buddies with Iran, posted on Telegram that they shot the missile at a place called Eilat, which is a beach town in Israel. They said they did it because Israel, the US, and the UK have been attacking them.
This all happens while Israel is dealing with more trouble from Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon, who also get help from Iran.
Stopping the Missile
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said the missile didn't actually make it into Israel, but it did make the air raid sirens go off in Eilat. This is because there was a chance that the missile could break into pieces and hurt people.
Israel Fights Back with Airstrikes
The day before, Israel had done some airstrikes in Yemen on a place called Hodeidah port. This was because the Houthis sent a drone to attack Tel Aviv. This was the first time in a while that Israel said they hit the group after they've been causing a lot of trouble.
Hurt People and Broken Stuff
The Yemen health department said that at least 80 people got hurt in the airstrikes, with some having really bad burns. The port that's important for Yemen's economy and food got messed up too, and it's not looking good with fires and all.
Drone Strikes in Tel Aviv
On Friday, the Houthis used a drone to attack Tel Aviv. It got past some fancy air defense stuff and hit a building where people live, sadly killing one person and hurting eight more. This was the reason Israel decided to do the airstrikes back at them.
What's Going On Here?
Israel's Foreign Minister, Israel Katz, talked about how the strikes they did were a big message to everyone around them. This whole situation shows that there's a lot of bad blood between Israel and the Houthi group, and it's part of a bigger problem in the area with everyone fighting each other.
