Israel to Act Against Houthis in Yemen, Netanyahu Announces
Rebel forces in Syria forge ahead as they put in place a transitional government after the fall of President Bashar Assad's regime - a dramatic turn of events that spread like wildfire throughout the country. Meanwhile, the fragile ceasefire in Lebanon remains tentative with Israeli airstrikes against Hezbollah positions, as Israeli officials say the Iranian-backed militant group continues to violate the ceasefire.
Tensions in the Gaza Strip also remain unresolved as the IDF continues to carry out aggressive air and ground operations. Against a backdrop of heightened regional turmoil, tensions between Israel and Iran have reached a fever pitch, with both countries trading long-range attacks and threatening additional military action against each other.

Netanyahu: Israel Will Respond Forcefully Against Houthis Following Missile Attack
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised stern measures against the Yemeni rebel forces of the Houthis after a missile strike injured 16 in Tel Aviv. Netanyahu had said, "Just like we did not remain quiet against the terrorist arms of Iran's evil axis, and just as we operate against them, so we will also operate against the Houthis — with the same strength."
It was an attack in a line of escalations by the Houthi rebels who, since October 2023, have targeted various commercial and military assets in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Arabian Sea. The Israeli military said one missile launched by the Houthi was shot down but debris caused damage to a school in Tel Aviv.
