Traces of Cyanide Found in Hotel Room with Six Dead People in Bangkok

So, get this, the Thai cops found a super sad situation in a fancy hotel in the middle of Bangkok. There were six people dead in a room at the Grand Hyatt Erawan, and they found out there was cyanide there. This crazy scene was found on a Tuesday, and now everyone's trying to figure out what happened.

What's Going On?

The big boss of the Thai forensics, Lt. Gen. Trairong Piwpan, said they found cyanide in some cups and thermoses in the hotel room. It looks like no one else went into the room except for the people who didn't make it out, based on what the hotel says and what the security cameras showed.

Who Were They?

The head of the Bangkok police, Lt. Gen. Thiti Sangsawang, told us that the people who died were two Vietnamese Americans and four folks from Vietnam. There were three guys and three ladies, and they were between 37 and 56 years old.

What's Next?

They're gonna do some autopsies on Thursday to get more info. For now, it seems like this isn't something that's gonna put tourists in Bangkok in danger, so that's a bit of good news.

Everyone's Getting Involved

The embassies from Vietnam and the US know about it, and the Prime Minister of Thailand, Srettha Thavisin, said the FBI from America is coming to help with the case. It's pretty serious, and everyone wants to find out what went down.
