Big Train Wreck in India: Two People Don't Make It and 20 Get Hurt in Eastern Jharkhand

Train Goes Off the Rails in India: Two Gone and 20 Banged Up

What Happened with the Train
So, on a Tuesday (July 30) in India, this train called the Howrah-Mumbai Express totally derailed, and like, some of its cars turned over. It was super early in the morning, like before the sun even came up, and it was near this place Jamshedpur in the eastern part of the country, Jharkhand.

Why India's Trains Are So Sketchy
You know how India's got like, the biggest train system in the world? Yeah, well, it's kind of a mess. They don't have enough money to keep it all safe, and stuff happens all the time.

Someone Saw It
This dude from the Indian Railways, Om Prakash Charan, said that two people didn't make it and 20 got hurt. Oh, and there was another train, a goods train, that went off the tracks too, but we don't know if it's got anything to do with this one yet.

People Saving People
Eighteen of the train's cars got messed up, and right now, there are a bunch of people trying to help everyone who's stuck or hurt. It's a big deal and they're still working on it.
