Russian Armored Vehicles Dwindle, Some Troops Start Training on Dirt Bikes

Russian Armored Vehicles

Hey there! So, it seems like the Russian military is getting a bit low on those fancy armored vehicles. They've been turning to stuff like golf carts and motorcycles instead, which is kind of a big deal, right? And guess what? One Russian brigade is now making sure their new soldiers know how to ride these bikes like champs.

This "Motorcycle School" is apparently the real deal, according to some Russian blogger who posted about the 5th Donetsk Brigade. These guys are out there in eastern Ukraine, in a town called Krasnohorivka, learning how to ride bikes like they're in a Hollywood action movie or something.

Now, don't get too excited thinking this will make Russian bike soldiers live longer. These bikes are like sitting ducks with no armor when they go after enemy bases. They're basically throwing themselves into danger, hoping to outrun drones and dodge mines.

But why the sudden interest in dirt bikes, you ask? Well, the Russians have lost over 16,000 heavy-duty vehicles in Ukraine, which is more than what some whole armies have! So, they've been giving out these Chinese and Belarusian dirt bikes like candy to their troops. It's a quick fix for not having enough armored personnel carriers or infantry fighting vehicles.

The idea is that these bike soldiers zip across the dangerous area between Russian and Ukrainian lines as fast as they can, ditch their bikes, and then keep fighting on foot. Sounds cool, right? But here's the catch: Ukrainian drones and mines are everywhere, and these poor bikers are getting picked off like it's nobody's business.

So, they're trying to make it work by opening up a school for this. The 5th Donetsk Brigade might just be ahead of the game
