Delhi T-1 Roof Collapse: Aviation Minister Assures Safety Checks; Blasts Opposition for Spreading 'Fake News'

So, after that scary thing that happened at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, where part of the roof caved in at Terminal-1, the big cheese in charge of air travel, Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu, has stepped up to say they're gonna check all the airports in the country to make sure this doesn't happen again. Basically, they're gonna give all the airports a good look-see to make sure they're not gonna fall apart on us.

Kinjarapu told everyone that his ministry wants reports from all the airports in the next couple of days, like 2 to 5, to figure out what's up and what needs fixing. He said, "Look, what went down in Delhi is super sad, and we don't want that to happen again. So, all the airports, get me a report quick, and we'll deal with any issues to keep everyone safe." He talked to this news place called ANI about it.

And guess what? Some sad news came out of it. A 45-year-old taxi driver didn't make it, and eight other people got hurt. Kinjarapu said some really nice words about it, saying, "It's terrible what happened at the Delhi airport. My heart goes out to the family of the person who didn't make it, and I hope the others who got hurt are gonna be okay. They're getting treated right now."

But here's the kicker, the minister also had some not-so-nice words for the opposition. He said they're spreading fake news about the whole thing. So, he's basically telling everyone to watch out for the BS and to stick to the real story.

This whole situation has got people worrying about airport safety in India, so the government's jumping on it to make sure everyone feels safe when they're flying. They're gonna get all these reports and then decide what to do next. It's like fixing up your house after you find a leak; you wanna make sure everything's solid before the next storm hits. So, hopefully, after they're done with their inspections, we can all relax a bit more at the airport.
