3. Stepnohirsk Village Hit by Grad Multiple Rocket Launchers
On 3 January, the Russian forces attacked the village of Stepnohirsk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, with Grad multiple rocket launchers, killing a man and sending his wife to the hospital due to her injuries. This further manifests how artillery bombardments can also be lethal even outside more rural areas.
4. Drone Attack in Antonivka, Kherson Oblast
On January 4, another drone strike was carried out against the village of Antonivka in Kherson Oblast. A 71-year-old man was injured in the extreme trauma: he sustained mine-blast injuries, and shrapnel got to his head and abdomen. All this shows that even now, the civilian population cannot feel completely safe in places that have become the object of targeting.
5. Kherson Oblast: 40 Settlements Were Hitted
Kherson Oblast was shelled from every possible direction: the Russian forces attacked 40 settlements, including the regional center of Kherson. Altogether, eight people were injured, which further aggravated the already catastrophic humanitarian situation.
